Blah...blah...blog.

Well, I used to make fun of bloggers so I guess this makes me a hypocrit. I guess when you have a child, you know this is the most important time of your life so recording/documenting every single event seems more appropriate than expected. So...here goes...

May 2010 - Well, an interesting year it will be for us. Jene' and Art welcomed their first, Greer Bequette Smith, in March. I can say she is the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I love being an uncle. We are the unannounced secondary protection for our neices...the shoulder to cry on when daddy or mommy is mean:). Tommy, Jr (frequently addressed now as T.J.) is expected anytime between now and June 3rd (or after) which is his due date. Lauren's birthday is May 28th, so he may be holding out to come then and officially break daddy's wallet in May. My dad is turning 70 this October. Our friends Mike and Brooke Williams are expecting their first child in August, Reagan and TJ will be in the same class. We found out today that Robby and Lauren Johnson are not only expecting their first in October of this year, but they're having twins!!! We love our neighbors and the community in Arlington (about 25 minutes outside Memphis). The population is about 12,000 now and we love the small town feel. Roscoe is 5 years old on June 9th! We have made Daisy's (rescue pup) birthday in July. My best friend Kyle Attarian is marrying his love Stephanie Grissom July 3rd in Nashville. Our good friends Meghan Washburn and Ryan Heimke are marrying September 18th! So...busy summer for the new and improved White family.

Week 38 - We are at the end of our 3rd tri-mester with Tommy Laudell White, Jr. As of this past Wednesday at the doctor he is 7 lbs. 1 oz. and has completely run out of room. Moma White has been on bed rest for 16 weeks now. Absolutely exhausting 16 weeks for her...I do think she has had every pregnancy symptom known to man, and then some. Right now her feet look worse than any soccer ankle/foot injury I've ever seen...comfort is not even an option it's just a matter of choosing a position that is the least uncomfortable at this point. Daddy is loosing his wits at this point...I am dying to make her feel better, but outside of me breaking her water on my own...it will be a waiting game. Us White men are usually stubborn...more to come
